Hallo Terence

Could you provide a fix for the following issue related to the Assigned Resources?

If I assign some resources in the form view then they are not displayed in the bryntum gantt view and vica versa

Odoo Version: 15
Reproducible: Yes
Reproducible on odoo-gantt.bryntum.com: yes
Bryntum App Version: 15.0.1.3.1

Thanks for your effort.

This is not supported in this version. We save the resources independently from the model used behind the native project task form.

That is because we had initially no dependency on the Employee (hr) module. In Q2 we would like to add a new module with this dependency included and connected to the native assignment fields.

That means you can only add and use assignments in the chart it self.

Hello, has this been fixed? We need this feature very much as well as we are developing our custom module with your wonderful gantt and scheduler pro products that we purchased.
If not there yet, can you please give us guidance so we can implement it ourselfs.
Many thanks.

Thank you for your compliments :) No, this is something we have in mind for the future. No ETA set.
The current module is not based on the hr module. We were thinking to create a new module in this case.

If you want to write the module yourself you need to create a dependency and modify the models and controller to update and retrieve the related native (hr) resource fields. It is a bit complicated to give all guidance here (via forum support).

I think no significant updates are needed in the ui part.

We can give better guidance by professional support. If you are interested you could contact sales@bryntum.com for a quote.
