Premium support for our pure JavaScript UI components

Hello,

I noticed a UX inconsistency between event menu actions when multiple events are selected.
Most actions are triggered on all selected events (cut, copy, paste, delete...), but "unassign" only applies to the event the menu was triggered on.

Could we make "unassign" apply to all selected events as well?

Thank you,
J

Hey jamesb,

Thanks for the report. I created a video to fix that behavior https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/6037

Thank you Márcio!

I have a related issue, where the selection behavior in Bryntum is inconsistent with most applications (at least on Windows).

If I select 1 item (A) in an application and then right-click another item (B), I expect the context menu action to only apply to B (A should be automatically unselected).

It's only where there is an explicit multi-select, with the right-clicked item part of the selection, that the context menu action should apply to all items of the selection.

Hey jamesb,

Thanks for the report and the video to explain the issue, I created a ticket to fix that https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/6105

PS: just a side note, when you're reporting a different issue, even when it's similar to a subject that you're already reported, please try to open a new post, we follow the rule of one topic per issue to help the organization process. :)

Best regards,
Márcio
