Edit duration in Gantt

Hi,
When creating new tasks in the Gantt view we are not able to set the duration on tasks. When creating a new task with a start date and the adjusting the duration, the duration is reset.

We would like to know how to create, adjust and set start and end date of tasks in the Gantt view, and not have to do so on the Task overview page.

Hi Tord,

Two questions about this:

• which version are you using
• which edition, EE or CE
• It looks like 17.0 EE but just making sure
• Can you also reproduce the issue on our demo instances, and if so, can you share the steps (go to app store and click Live Demo)

Last point will help us in resolving the issue quickly

Hi,
We are using the Gantt View PRO (Enterprise) by Bryntum AB for version 17.0 edition.
When opening Gantt View in Project module and selecting a project we also use the New Task button. After creating a new task to an existing Project we set the start date and then use the Duration column to decide how long it is supposed to last. But then when reentering the Gantt view the duration has disappeared.

Thank you for the helpful clip. We've identified the same behavior and have created a task for it. We'll keep you posted on when it's been resolved and an update for it has been released.

The duration bug you encountered has been fixed with the release of Version 17.0.2.1.23. Please update; it should all be working as it should.
