Odoo v17 - use of Milestones from odoo instead of creating a task

would it be possible to use milestones in odoo rather than creating an additional task? Can you explain why you designed a milestone using a task rather than using milestones in odoo?

I see you posted about this before here: viewtopic.php?t=31641. There's no additional update available on this at this time, other than what was already said there: it's in our pipeline and will be picked up at some point in the future.
