Hello Bryntum Support,

I hope you are doing well. I would like to report an issue I found in the Advanced demo example.
Here is the link I used: (https://bryntum.com/products/gantt/examples/advanced/)

I attached three images to show the problem.

When I edit a task that has a duration of more than one day and I change the Start Date using the arrow button (right-hand side arrow button) in the Start date field to move the activity in the future, if I click the arrows quickly, the task’s duration eventually becomes 0 days. Then the Start and End dates become the same, and the task changes into a milestone (diamond shape).
This is shown in Image 2.

However, if I choose the same new date using the calendar popup, instead of the arrows, everything works correctly. The duration stays the same and the task moves normally.
This is shown in Image 3.

So the issue only seems to happen when using the arrow buttons quickly to push the Start date.

This has been raised as a high priority bug in our system. Could you please have a look at this ASAP?

Please let me know if you need more information or if you would like a video recording of the issue.

Thank you,
Umar
