Hello Bryntum team,
We are using SchedulerPro → CalendarEditor to manage working days, weekends, and holidays.
Our use case is strictly day-based scheduling:
Working days vs non-working days
Weekends blocked via the Weeks tab
Holidays added via Exceptions
No partial-day or hour-level scheduling
At the data level, we normalize all calendar intervals to full days (00:00 → 00:00 next day), so time is not used in scheduling logic.
However, in CalendarEditor, the UI always exposes time fields (start/end time pickers) for availability ranges.
Questions
Is there a supported configuration or API option to make CalendarEditor operate in a day-only mode (for example, hide or disable time fields)?
If not, is there an officially recommended approach to:
Default times to 00:00
Prevent users from editing time values
While still using CalendarEditor (without DOM/CSS hacks)?
Is this limitation intentional because CalendarModel is inherently time-based, or is a day-only configuration something that could be supported in the future?
We understand that CalendarEditor edits a time-based model internally. We are mainly looking for guidance on best practice for day-only scheduling from a UX and supportability standpoint.
Thanks in advance for clarification.
