Premium support for our pure JavaScript UI components

We are using Bryntum Gantt Pro v6 in our product and have encountered a challenge related to date handling.

Our product uses inclusive start dates and inclusive end dates for tasks. This means a task may start and end on the same calendar day and still represent a duration of 1 day.

In our Gantt configuration, the time resolution unit is set to day with an increment of 1. However, Bryntum Gantt appears to treat the start date as inclusive and the end date as exclusive. As a result, tasks that start and end on the same day are automatically recalculated and shifted.

Questions:

Is it possible to configure Bryntum Gantt v6 to treat the end date as inclusive as well?

If not, what strategies or recommended approaches exist to support tasks that start and end on the same day while maintaining a 1‑day duration?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hi,

This is planned to be added in v8. Here is a ticket for that https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/9643

All the best,
