Our pure JavaScript Scheduler component

Post by dc77 »

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to completely replace the popout event editor. The examples in documentation and react examples showcase a modal that pops up. But is there a way to still have it be a popout and replace the content to use our own custom editor?

Something like this:

Hi,

Welcome to Bryntum Forums 🎉

We have a guide on replacing the event editor here https://bryntum.com/products/schedulerpro/docs/guide/Scheduler/customization/replaceeventedit
Also here is an online demo of that https://bryntum.com/products/schedulerpro/examples-scheduler/custom-event-editor/

Hope it helps.

Hi, thanks for your response.

I m aware of those guides and examples. However those examples and guides show a custom editor modal, what i want is a custom editor that pops out when the event is clicked (like a popout/callout component as shown in the screenshot). Is that possible?

Hi,

As documented, return false from the beforeEventEdit event and implement that popup. But it will be much trickier to achieve.
Instead I would recommend you to use our default editor and style it with CSS to how you'd want it to look. That would be much easier way to achieve it.

Best regards,
Tasnim
