Odoo v17 - Problem integrating milestones between Bryntum Gantt and Odoo milestone

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the integration of milestones between Bryntum Gantt and Odoo's project management module. Milestones added at project level in Odoo are not taken into account in Bryntum Gantt.

In addition, when I add a milestone directly in Bryntum Gantt, it creates a new task instead of adding a milestone in Odoo's project management.

This creates an inconsistency between the two tools. Would it be possible to correct this integration so that milestones are synchronized and correctly supported in both systems?

Yes, we are using custom columns for the milestones. This is on the roadmap to do and we've heard it more often, so we'll do it.

I wrote a module to connect milestones to task deadlines as an additional column. This way we have "initial deadline", "reached" and the new column "current deadline", which allows for a nice comparison between planned and current.
