Our state of the art Gantt chart

Post by jamesagudo »

Hello Bryntum Team,

I am developing with the Gantt library inside of Salesforce and I am experiencing some odd behaviour with the auto-scroll always snapping to the top after an action is performed within the Gantt. This only happens on the Y-axis and does not happen on the X-axis at all.

As a side note, I have set the task nodes to expand/collapse server side and you can visually see them expand/collapse on gantt updates, but this issue was present prior to this, which leads me to believe they are related.

Please see video attached, thanks for your help.

James

Sorry, I don't know how this was placed in the Bryntum Scheduler section. If this thread can be moved to the Gantt sub-forum that would be much appreciated.

Hi James,

Could you please show us how do you set data to your stores? It looks like you removed data, Gantt fit new content and scroll disappeared, then you load new set of data, and scroll just stay on the same place. It should not happen in normal scenario.

Nevermind about the topic, I will it to Gantt section.

All the best,
Alex Lazarev

Hello Alex,

Thanks for your prompt reply and help with this. I have found the root cause of this issue which was in my code base.

Best,
James
