Dragging tasks between columns in Salesforce

Hi,

We've updated to 7.3.0 and noticed some issues with moving tasks between columns. I'm a bit confused because, looking at your demo, I can see it works well in Community, but we're experiencing problems with the component nested in Lightning App Pages, Record Pages, Home Pages, etc. We can't move cards between columns.

I'm attaching the component I tested it with — it's basically the same as your showcase demo component. I placed it on an empty page with no custom styles, no custom components on our side, and no overrides. Just a plain page with the component nested.

columnDrag is set to true.

Would appreciate any help with this!

Update: I meant taskDrag, not columnDrag, sorry. Adding taskDrag: true to features doesn't help.

Actually it worked on my side. Please tell me the status of LWS and Debug mode? Any other global settings changed?

LWS off, debug on. Switching both doesn't help. No other global settings come to my mind.

Maybe you'd like access to my scratch org to check it live? I could message you the credentials

Tried with LWS disabled, still working as expected. Checking your app won't help a lot, I believe you that you have this issue, but to confirm it, our developer should be able to reproduce it on our end. In SF env checking at runtime won't really help me to find the difference via yours and mine apps.
Could you please make one test for us? Please check our demo code here https://github.com/bryntum/bryntum-salesforce-showcase , copy it as is and try to reproduce the issue in your end using our app and template? The problem might be in some other place than in the app code. It worked well for me and your app is almost the same as our demo, but you have that problem.
Please also share your browser/OS versions.

Copied the taskboard_component and put it into a new Lightning App Page. The only difference is that I'm using minified versions:

Unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue.

macOS Sonoma 14.8.5
Chrome 148.0.7778.97 (noticed the issue here)
Safari 26.4 (doesn't work as well)

Checked other versions with the same component:
6.3.4 - drag & drop working
7.0.x - i.getAnimations error, Taskboard not loading at all, so not sure
7.1.0, 7.2.0, 7.2.4 - drag & drop working, but sometimes the drop placeholder is still visible after dropping a task - see video
7.3.0 - drag & drop not working

Hey Alex,

Sorry to dig this one back up — just wanted to confirm I'm reading the plan correctly: will the upcoming fix also cover the placeholder issue shown in the video? Restoring drag & drop is critical on our side, as it's currently blocking the release of several important features.
